The P993 frequency output devices are specifically configured for the control system and are integrated into the air valve actuator and provide a compact PCB mounting structure. KAVLICO is pleased to announce that we have extended the frequency output configuration capabilities of the industry-leading and MEMS-based P992/P993 series of low range differential pressure sensors. These devices are perfect for a variety of HVAC applications, including variable air volume air conditioning (VAV) systems, filter pressure monitoring, duct airflow, static pressure monitoring, leak detection, and furnace combustion applications. The sensor operates on a DC power supply of 5V and provides a digital frequency output proportional to the pressure and amplified. The output frequency changes from 1.5 Khz at zero voltage to 10.5 Khz at full range. These sensors are temperature-compensated, and have excellent anti-EMI (Emi)/RFI (RF interference) and ESD protection functions. With the help of frequency output sensor configuration, system designers do not need to use expensive analog-to-digital converter, which can reduce component costs, PCB space and power. Within the available pressure range of 1"H20 to 10"H20, these sensors have no position sensitivity, low power consumption and superior output signal stability. The P992 frequency output sensor completes KAVLICO's RoHS Standard Portfolio for HVAC and Vav applications
